A freezing cold day with a biting wind, not ideal for gardening.
We met the group in the polytunnel; a lovely, friendly group of people and a lot of fun.
After a demonstration of how to sharpen tools, we moved outside and were shown how to prune rose bushes. Then went indoors for tea and coffee and a nice cupcake - all free!
Plans were discussed for the coming weeks, including a day trip with the group on the 28th February.
